Nahodha Rising is a community-based organization focused on mentoring, empowering, and transforming boys and girls through education, life skills, mentorship, and character development.
It was started to address the growing challenges facing children, especially boys, including lack of mentorship, poor role models, drug abuse, and school dropout.
Nahodha Rising was started by passionate community leaders and mentors burdened by the challenges affecting boys and vulnerable children.
The organization was formed in 2023 after seeing the increasing cases of substance abuse, school dropout, broken mentorship systems, and the lack of positive male guidance.
The realization was clear: many boys lacked direction and were vulnerable to negative influences, poor discipline, peer pressure, hopelessness, and low self-esteem.
To raise a generation of young people who are spiritually grounded, disciplined, and ready to lead with integrity.
